"Although
she now lives in the United States, Kathryn White’s
inspiration comes from a former home, the beautiful Cotswold
Hills in Cheltenham, England. She finds the Old World to be
an endless source for themes, concepts, colors, designs and
decorative elements, which she celebrates in her art. Her
current work fuses contemporary materials and traditional
methods, with the use of mixed media and textural finishes.
This versatile artist paints in oils, watercolors, and the
centuries-old medium of egg tempera. Her work in oils, in
particular, has brought her considerable acclaim, and her
award-winning paintings are featured in numerous private
collections."
